Do you train assistance dogs? A new clicker newsletter for you

Paws-Up, Inc., in Mulvane, Kansas, produces workbooks, handouts, and other products for people clicker training assistance or therapy dogs. Their quarterly newsletter, "A Pawsitive Canine Experience," contains useful articles, plus research briefs, references to current research papers, and recommended online links. ClickerExpo faculty members Virginia Broitman and Debi Davis are contributing authors, and the current issue (Summer 2005) features Karen Pryor's piece "On Being a Changemaker."

Cat Fancy features clicker training in their annual Cats Magazine

Cat Fancy's 2006 annual Cats Magazine features an article by Karen on teaching cats new tricks through clicker training. It serves as a great little introduction to clicker training for any cat enthusiast.

Clicker training demos popular across the US

This summer clicker trainers all over the country are spreading the word by giving public demos of what you can do with the clicker. Just in the last week I've seen clippings from The San Jose Mercury, the Orlando Sentinal, and seven other newspapers mentioning clicker demos in connection with pet fairs, humane organization fund raisers, mall events, and other gatherings.
