ViceBreaker H2

Has anyone herd of the ViceBreaker H2? I ordered the free DVD and I myself like this device! It works somewhat like the clicker training. But instead when a horse does something wrong you push the button and it sends a electrical stimili (NO PAIN WHATSOEVER). I think it's good because number one it allows you to use negative punishment the horse but you are not involved so the horse doesn't associate you with the electronic stimili. It also allows the person to emit the stimili EXACTLY when the horse does something wrong so the horse learns that what he did is wrong. I.E biteing get shock!. It is suposed to make the horse think that when he (the horse)bites, he is the one making him get shocked.

I think this device has some great benefits.

Also...

I don't mean to be horrible, but electrical stimuli is pain. If you doubt it go to a pet store and ask to try out an electric dog collar, put it on the inside of your thigh and press the button. I guarantee you it will cause pain.

Vice Breaker

The Vive Breaker is made for horses. It is NOT a Dog Shock Collar. If you would like to find out about it to see more about it you can visit http://www.tthorse.com/ I think if you read the website you can find out about it a little more and how it differs from a traditional dog shock collar. But anyway thanks for the response.

Objection...

It's not negative punishment, you're not taking anything away. It's definitely positive punishment.

And when you use a clicker for the first time you charge it. click = treat. There is no such process when you use a device like that for punishment, so there is no basis for the horse knowing exactly what it did wrong.

As I posted just moments ago, I am so not a perfectly positive reinforcer. But despite that imperfection I feel okay saying that such a device is not a good idea.
