I'm doing a veterinary Nursing and animal behaviour degree and for one of my behaviour assignments, i need to teach my cat to place his paw on my leg.
How would i start? Would i use a target stick and then a clicker
Please help !!!!

That's wondeful! The great thing about clicker training is the variety of approaches you can take to teaching any one behavior. For example, you could teach targeting (teach your cat to target the stick and then transfer the target to your leg) or you could click for putting the paw consecutively closer and closer to your leg until it is on your leg. I'm sure there are a number of other choices. Good luck!
