Dorcas went to her new vet today and I was very pleased with him and with his bet's assistant. Dorcas had to have her left tear duct flushed out. She was a very good girl, and both the vet and the vet's assistant fell in love with her.
The vet and his assistant stressed that I needed to get the rabbits to eat more hay, for their dental health (the tear duct is related potentially to dental problems). I was glad that they gave me some proportions of pellets to hay to fresh greens. I C greens per five pounds of body weight; 1 Tablespoon pellets per pound of body weight.
