So we've added a new little one to the group. This brings the total to five. She was found on the side of the highway by my mother-in-law and picked up. I had been talking to my hubby about adding another little one now that Kayla is two, but I didn't know it would be this soon. She's a funny little one that comes off shy, but would sell herself for some good food. She's melted everyone she's met and more.
It will be interesting to watch the dynamic change as she grows. I have a very strong female and a very insecure one. The boys stay out of it. Right now Kay doesn't acknowledge her presence, while Sandy already feels threatened. It's very interesting to watch the interactions between the dogs, but also the body positioning the Kayla uses when I go to interact with the puppy. There are some very deliberate uses of space that peek my attention. I'm excited for the road ahead!
Here's to the new addition!!!
PS Sibley is her name...
