I have an African Grey Parrot named Dusty. I believe he is 14 yrs old. He came from an abusive environment where he was taunted by men. He does well with me, but my husband is another story. They do have little games they play(with rolled up paper & a wooden knife), but Dusty still won't let him come near him with his hand to step up. I am feeling confident that this clicker training will work. I am also excited so I can learn how to coax Dusty into letting me clip his nails, just for starters. I ordered the bird clicker training, as well as the cat clicker training book for my cat Penny. Dust and her tolerate one another. I think she is quite annoyed with him actually, being able to talk, even though she does try:)
