June is my 4 month old Yorkshire Terrier who has been clicker trained since her 8th week (when I got her). She knew her name by 9 weeks, could sit by 10 weeks and now she is able to wait, we are working on down and stay. She is also learning to leave it.
June does not have the intelligence that my adult male yorkie does, but she has bucket loads of charisma to get her through. She is truly the cutest, sweetest puppy. She is a tiny yorkie who will be about 4lbs fullgrown - ok, maybe she is not tiny to other people, but it scares the hell out of me to have such a small dog. I am feeding her a lot so that she grows nice and big.
That is another thing I love about clicker training. You can give them extra food without them learning bad behaviours like begging.
We have to start her training session for the day and I will update with any progress.
