Turlough has been clicker trained since I got him from the breeder at 8 weeks of age. In his first ASCA show, he won HIT Aussie, he has been in the top 20 APDT Rally Rankings for 2 years, and won a number of first places in APDT rally as well as obedience. He is working on his UKC Utility title, with one leg to go! Showing is fun for him, it is a chance for us to go somewhere together and challenge ourselves. He is my heart dog, my shadow and my best team mate. If he makes a mistake in the ring, I know I didn't explain it to him clearly enough, so we go home and work on it. I go back to baby steps, click/treat for each little step, and think of new ways to show him what to do. It is great fun for both of us, he thinks all this training is the best game!
