Joan Orr, a TAGteacher, took on a litter of German shepherd puppies while their owner was away for a week. She quickly clicker-taught them several behaviors, including "come when called," even in the woods—and this wave.
She writes, "The wave was shaped in one session. No lure—just captured. Now the puppies wave all the time—they haven't figured out that they only get a reward if cue is present. They sit and wave for attention instead of jumping—very cute!"
