So, try two: target training.
I'm not 100% sure that Cleo gets the association yet, but as predicted, she seems to like the target game. She got three clicks for following the target, but the third click was for a good long wait, followed by a veritable pounce! But she touched it. She wouldn't follow the target more than a foot or so this time, but we'll work on that more later.
I also got her to eat some of the bonito flakes this time. Maybe she does like them? I'm not sure, but I'll wait a bit before dinner and maybe try to get a little more target training in tonight.
