Creativity and the Animal Mind: Karen Pryor will show you the simple but powerful steps for increasing innovative thinking and novel actions in any species of learner, including yourself! The AL-Lure of Luring: For some dogs, the lure, or scent target, is a really valuable source of information. Kay Laurence teaches you how to use the luring intelligently during this special 2-hour lab. Aggression Treatment and Context: Join Ken Ramirez, with introductory remarks by Karen Pryor, for an important and informative session for anyone involved with aggression treatment in animals. Top OTCH: People at all levels of obedience competition will gain new and exciting insights into how clicker training can increase your precision and reliability top competitor and trainer Cecilie Koste. Let’s Make Some Noise: Learn how to increase your dog’s confidence and his ability to function in all kinds of situations that involve noise and movement. Eva Bertilsson and Emelie Johnson Vegh will show you how to teach your dog to welcome noise and movement, an invaluable skill in any environment. You’re in Great Shape!: Kathy Sdao will teach you what shaping is- and isn’t- and how it differs from other ways of “getting behavior”. If you’ve been frustrated in your attempts to try shaping, this session can’t be missed!
