While I was walking the new dog I got, I knew one thing I could train her to do.
If you don't know already, Beagles love to sniff. They are tracking dogs and are often used for that reason. I've heard of many stories where the dog will not wait up for the owner because they are going too fast.
In my case, the beagle gets distracted with scents and doesn't go the way I want her to go.
On her next walk, I am going to be sure to shape this behavior.
