Our New International Dog Trainer Professional Program Location in Hawaii!
Golden Valley, MN – 3/16/13 |
The International Dog Trainer Professional Program uses the same high-quality curriculum and technology as our North America Dog Trainer Professional Program, but is organized around a convenient schedule for dog trainers living outside the United States and Canada. And now we have a great new location for the program—in Hawaii! If you’re considering the International Program, this is a great way to learn with trainers from around the world. Students begin the online portion of the course from home beginning in July 2013, and then will participate in an intensive 10-day workshop from January 11 - 20, 2014, in Hawaii on the Island of Oahu. Take advantage of 2013 B.F. Skinner Scholarships for the Dog Trainer Program
For 2013, there are 50 scholarships available for the KPA Dog Trainer Program. The scholarships, each in the amount of $300, honor and celebrate the life and work of B.F. Skinner. According to Skinner Foundation president Julie Vargas, "The Foundation supports the basic science underlying humane educational practices from Autism to Zoology. Karen Pryor's Dog Trainer Professional Program is a fine example of those humane and effective practices. The Foundation is pleased to join with the Academy in furthering the positive-only training made possible by practitioners in the dog-training world."
