Karen Pryor Awarded the Prestigious Maxwell Award
By KPCT on 04/01/2003Karen Pryor, animal behaviorist and author, has been awarded the prestigious Maxwell Award from the Dog Writer's Association of America. The award, presented on the eve of the 2002 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, was awarded for the series of groundbreaking articles Karen wrote in the AKC Gazette on training dogs for the show ring without the use of force or punishment.
