A Dutch company has come up with a novel treat for the dog who has everything - non-alcoholic, meat flavoured beer for dogs!
Pet store owner Gerrie Berendsen from the Netherlands decided that after hunting expeditions his dogs should be able to enjoy a cold beer with him. However, alcohol is poisonous to dogs, so Kwispelbier brewery was commissioned to develop a non-alcoholic beer using beef and malt extracts for a meaty, malty flavour that dogs would especially enjoy.
The beer is also fit for human consumption, for those who like to share with their dogs.
Perhaps we will be seeing "click and sip" instead of "click and treat" sometime soon?
