you know you are a dog person

You know, you are a dogperson when:

you are going to the movies with your husband and:

the main concern is finding a pair of trouser with no dogdrool on them. When you find a droolless pair you first look to see how badly doghaired they are. And decide that it isn't too bad, besides all your clothes match your dogs, so the hair is to be considered trendy. As are pawprints BTW... Animal print is in, right?

In the last rush to leave (you are always in a rush just before leaving, because it takes time to distribute the dogchewies that will keep the pack happy, while you are away) you discover that all your jackets have dog drool on them. While searching for the least be-drooled jacket, one of your dogs sneak up and place a bit of drool on the trouser you are wearing. Cleverly the dog makes sure, that the drool is in an area immediately noticeable to anybody except the person wearing the trousers, so at least you will not worry about the drool while you are out, because you will not find it until you get back home and take the trousers off.

You decide that the green jacket is acceptable, as the drool mark is on the sleeve, and they are sort of long, so they can be bunched up a bit.

Arriving at the movietheater you put your hands in your pockets and suddenly your right hand is full of forgotten dogtreats. And you are glad...because they are the dry kind and not (very) smelly. You are not surprised at all to find a clicker in the left pocket. You don't remember putting it there, but, hey, better leave it in place...it matches the treats.

And you know life is good when the last thing your hubby said before you left the house was "honey, are there too many dog hair on this t-shirt?" (note: not are there any, but are there too many)

oh, yes it's a dog life - and we like it....
