Clicker Training Help

Hi Lynn...

It's not that you aren't good at Clicker Training, it's that you've just begun. Practice, practice, practice and both you and your pet will have fun while training.

There are many great articles on the Karen Pryor website, as well as tools you might want to try. There are great books and DVD's as well.
You might want to consider a "Clicker Expo," as well.

Have you surfed into Aidan Binder's www.positivepetzine.com? Always great info there.

training difficulties

What do you have? Cat or dog or other? Unless you have an unusual cat, forget it if you don't have food. On the other hand my son's puppy is not at all food motivated. He responds to praise, affecttion and attention. So, you need to find the motivator that works best for your pet and use it consistently at least in the beginning.
