Woof everyone, we are known as The Desert Rats. There are two of us living in the Az desert, Cocoa is almost 3 years old and she is a mixed breed but only 9 pounds. Harley D is the "man" of the house, he is only 2 and also a mixed breed and a REAL BARKER ! He is one half Pom.
I just ordered a clicker to get Harley's barking problem under control so if anyone has any input please let me know, I have never used a clicker.

Hi, I have some experience with using a clicker.
I guess my best advice to you is not to expect miracles. Begin with some simple tricks, some handy ones you can utilise for this problem and to develop the basic skills being "touch a target" and "go to mat".
Once you have the basic skills, then you can start working those miracles.
