Can I train them at the same time? My apartment is too small to distract one and train the other. If I lock one up and train the other, will that be seen as punishment? Also, I'm home, mostly during feeding time. Do I train before or after their meals? Just got my clickers in the mail. Can't wait to start.

Training multiple animals
You'll want to separate the cats for training. You can put one in the bedroom, and work with the other one in a different room. You can definitely use your cat's meals as reinforcement for behaviors. Many animal trainers work this way. You can take a portion of their meal and have them work for it, then put the rest of their meal down and let them eat while you train the other kitty. And vice versa. Or, each cat can work for her entire meal -- it's up to you and what works best for you. Happy training!
