Clickin' the Pug, vol. 11

What a gorgeous day it was here in the PNW yesterday! Sunny with fluffy white clouds and mild temperatures. I'm not one that likes things much over 75 degrees, so fall is always my favorite time of year.

When I got home from work Frankie and I went to 'our' park and did some training. We worked on her 'wave' trick. She did awesome! I was even able to get some distance between us.

For our evening session we worked more on 'play dead' which will be known as 'bang' when I put a cue on it, but now it looks like a 'Jedi Mind Trick' where I wave my hand and Frankie rolls on her side. I coerced my 13 year old away from Smallville and she took this video with my phone, so I apologize for the quality and size. We think this is just hilarious, though!

Since I had the my phone ready, I took a few other videos, too. Most of them I had to scrap because it's hard to hold the phone and clicker in one hand and use the other hand to give a hand signal. These turned out decent, though.

This one is Frankie going through some of her tricks. She'll sit, wave, down, sit (eventually...hehe), then wave again. She's getting good! You can see that she almost goes over on her side after she 'downs', but she pays attention to me, instead!!!

Hope you all enjoy these. I know Frankie loves our training sessions...and it's fun to have a dog that 'knows stuff'!

In other news...it's cooooold this morning! Had to scrape the ice off my windshield. Frankie went out for our morning potty walk with no problems, though. She's getting better at not balking when it's wet or cold.
