Clicking in the USA!—Behind the Scenes at Good Morning America

The car picks us up at 5:30 a.m. and brings us to the studio in Times Square, where we enter via a side door. We feel very VIP-ish. A great gleaming silver freight-size elevator takes us to the studio and to our ready room. KP makes sure that Mia—our demo dog from the New York Humane Society (who arrives separately)—does not see us or stay with us. Karen does not want to get Mia all excited ("Look, the lady with the hot dogs!"). We know it’s going to be a long morning for us and for Mia.

 

Wolf Park—a Howling Good Time!

I have always wanted to go to Wolf Park, a nonprofit education and research facility where you can get up close with wolves and learn about their behavior. Having heard about it for years, and having met people who raved after attending one of the seminars offered there, it was on my list of places I'd most like to see.

Liz Drennan Receives First "Faith" Scholarship to Karen Pryor Academy

The members of the Academy of Veterinary Behavior Technicians (AVBT) and the Society of Veterinary Behavior Technicians (SVBT) scholarship committee recently awarded Elizabeth (Liz) Drennan of Michigan the first AVBT "Faith" Scholarship to the Dog Trainer Program at Karen Pryor Academy for Animal Training & Behavior (KPA).

The Bark Blogs about Canis Winners!
