ClickerExpo 2011: Ordinary People Doing Extraordinary Things

Filed in
Expo Faculty

Ordinary people doing extraordinary things. That is what Karen Pryor and members of the ClickerExpo faculty declared was one of the most amazing things about clicker training and ClickerExpo. In her closing speech, Victoria Stilwell said that coming to ClickerExpo and learning and exchanging ideas is really powerful. Nowhere else could this be more true. Faculty and attendees are doing extraordinary things with animals of all species, and generously sharing their knowledge and success with others. Victoria said that ClickerExpo offers us the unique opportunity to challenge ourselves to become better trainers, and inspires us to take our passion to new heights. She couldn’t have summed it up better. We walk away with more than new ideas to facilitate the human-animal bond. We walk away with renewed vigor.

As ClickerExpo drew to a close yesterday, we wanted to express our gratitude to all of the incredible faculty, staff, volunteers, and attendees that made ClickerExpo such an incredible success.  Is it over? No, it’s never really over. It’s only just begun.

See you in Chicago!
