Karen Pryor, CEO of Sunshine Books/KPCT and author of Don't Shoot the Dog: The New Art of Teaching and Training, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Skinner Foundation. The B.F. Skinner Foundation was established in 1987 to publish significant literary and scientific works in the analysis of behavior and to educate both professionals and the public about the science of behavior. The Foundation received tax-exempt status as a 501-C3 charitable group in 1989.
Publication Program

Archival Program
Since receiving B.F. Skinner's literary estate, the Foundation has begun collecting and categorizing materials by and about B.F. Skinner. Harvard University Archives already houses many of Skinner's papers and is working with the Foundation on this project. In addition to the archival work, the Foundation has funded a display case of operant equipment in William James Hall at Harvard.
Public Service
The Foundation provides photographs and moving footage for publication, videos, and television programs. All copyright and reprint requests for B.F. Skinner's work are handled by the Foundation. The Foundation maintains a library of reprints by B.F. Skinner. Single copies of any of Skinner's reprints are available free of charge; multiple copies of some reprints are also available free of charge.
