The “Red Light, Green Light” Game

Filed in - Training Tips - Dogs

The "Red Light, Green Light" game can be a great game to control excited, screaming children who are running away from a silly, nipping puppy. Stop the kids then stop the dog. When puppies and dogs nip and chase, it makes kids flail and squeal, which is super fun! When the parent chases the dog to divert the dog from the children, the dog sees that as entire family fun!

A simple "Johnny, Red Light!" can freeze the child, which allows you to get a handle on the dog and redirect the dog into a more appropriate game.
