Teach Your Puppy to Greet with a Sit

When you bring your new puppy or dog home, teach him to sit whenever he approaches you or other people. Keep treats in your pocket and randomly ask for the sit. If you start this from day one he will have a clear understanding that sitting gets attention. You may be able to avoid jumping all together!
